Renato and I are looking forward to playing again at this gorgeous, new wine bar in downtown Camas (right across the street from the Liberty Theater). Unlike most restaurants, this one was designed with acoustics in mind (the owners even hired an acoustical engineer), so it sounds great. Patrons can hear every note as well as hear themselves converse! Obviously the wine is a highlight, but the appetizers are very good too. Come check it out if you're a Clark County-ite! Renato and I love playing at this intimate Montavilla Neighborhood wine bar. Nice decor, excellent service, friendly staff, e.z. parking, no cover charge--and of course excellent wine! (The appetizers are tasty too.) What's not to like? (Weather willing, we'll play in the sidewalk performance area.)

Several months back, Mel Brown B-3 Organ Group's amazing saxophonist, Renato Caranto, invited his sax playing son and grandson to join the band for a memorable Thursday evening at the Jack London Revue. Minds were blown--including those of Renato's regular band members!
Ever since then, we've been getting asked when the "Brigade" would be back. So I'm excited to say that they'll be back with us on May 23! The show sold out last time around, and I certainly expect that to happen this time. So a word to the wise: get your advance tickets ASAP!
